Chiropractic science is concerned with the relationship between structure (primarily the spine), and function (primarily the nervous system) of the body. Controlling and monitoring the proper function of every tissue and organ is the primary responsibility of the brain and nervous system. Chiropractic care removes the interferences in the nervous system, thus allowing the body to restore and preserve your health.

Your doctor may determine that physical therapy is recommended to promote and enhance the healing process. Therapy is prescribed by your doctor as an adjunctive procedure to manage pain and muscle spasms and to increase circulation to the injured area. The therapy prescribed is secondary to the chiropractic adjustment.
